AN APPEAL FOR CORPUS FUND ...
It is widely known that Ramakrishna
Mission established by Swami Vivekananda is deeply involved in various
philanthropic activities among the poor and backward of India since its
inception in 1897. Its nonagenarian branch Ramakrishna Mission Vidyapith,
Deoghar, Jharkhand, according to its fundamental principle, is set to
serving the socio-economically challenged people of its surrounding rural
areas. Vidyapith has been therefore relentlessly working for their uplift
offering free education, health and material support over the decades, for
which it is spontaneously drawing appreciation and assistance from all and
sundry without reservation.
Recently Vidyapith had
acquired a modern equipped multi-purpose mobile medical van, namely
AROGYA, and employed it immediately for a better health care to the
mentioned section of beneficiaries in interior villages. The van visits
these areas with doctors and other medical staff on a regular basis to
conduct diagnostic, surgical and medicinal treatments on the poor patients
as the cases may be.
In spite of the best effort
by the programme of Arogya, the poverty stricken people cannot enjoy the
best medical care because of their inability to make adequate provisions of
medicines for themselves, although Vidyapith distributes some within its
present available means.
With a view to expanding its
capacity for distributing free medicines to the patients of Arogya in order
to remove the deficiency of the supply of medicines for their cure as far as
practicable, Vidyapith proposes to create a corpus fund of ` 50 lacs with
the help of large hearted donors of the country. Vidyapith hereby earnestly
appeals to all kind and sensible members and establishments of society to
compassionately come forward with the financial resources at their disposal
and to contribute to the noble cause generously. Any donation made to this
purpose will enjoy the advantage of 80G offered by the Income Tax Act,
Government of India. Contributions may be sent by cheques/bank drafts to the
Secretary, Ramakrishna Mission Vidyapith, Deoghar please. Our bankers are:
